7 Foods to avoid for acne-prone skin

There are different causes of acne, like sebum production, hormones, lifestyle, clogged pores, genes, and inflammation. But there’s a study that suggests the link between acne and diet. So, if you don’t want to worsen your acne try to avoid some of these foods for more clear skin:

Does dairy (milk, ice cream,…) cause acne?

The first one is a study that suggests the link between acne and the amino acids of this supplement protein: leucine and glutamine. That’s because these amino acids can stimulate mTor activation.
On the other hand, another study says that the amino acids of this dietary supplement increase the levels of insulin, which it links to causing acne.

The bottom line is that refined carbs and omega 6 fatty acids help in causing acne. So, it’s best to avoid them.
Meanwhile, are mixed results with dairy and chocolate, so avoid them for some time to see if your skin reacts or not.
